Willy Wonka, the world's famous Chocolateer!

This costume was a pleasure to make. It introduced me to silk screening, and the wonders of silk velvet.

Wonka has many different costume changes, through the movie. Unfortunately, some of them get very little screen time. I started the Wonka adventure by creating the version that everyone is familiar with. As you can see, I've began to explore some of his other elaborate costumes.

In the next few months, I plan to tackle a few of the other costumes, that people rarely have a chance to see in the movie. Due to the lack of public archival photos, some of the costumes will require some artistic licence.
