Don Juan was simply a quick & easy costume to make.

I wanted another costume that I could wear to ren faires, and one that would not require me to shave. I had always enjoyed the movie, and because of a few similar characteristics to Jack Sparrow, I decided to make it.

The biggest challenge with this costume, was to create my own embellishments, to match the screen used costume as much as possible.

When I originally wore the costume, my hair had not grown out enough, and my hat was not ready in time for pictures. This forced me to use a cheap padre hat, and later photoshop the brim to appear wider.

The only possible addition to this costume, would be to purchase a replica sword. But I don't feel it is needed. Besides, people already call me Zorro, so they don't seem to mind the omission.
