September 15, 2017 Silence masks now available for order
At long last, I have finally painted my Silence casting. This is a somewhat big deal for me, as this represents my first step into an area I've been waiting to enter. So this mask is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. This particular mask is not only my first latex casting, but it is also my first latex paint job, and I could not be more pleased with it.
You can order a mask for $300 and $45 shipping in the store. Each mask is ready to wear, and can take about 2 weeks for delivery.
September 10, 2017 Star Wars creatures are coming soon
For me, this is a pretty big deal. For years, I have wanted to make facial appliances. But since all of my head casting attempts were never quite perfect, I've not been able to. With the recent silicone mask (see below), I realized that I can still make all of the masks, and sharpen my sculpting skills in the process! So now that I've completed the Silence sculpture, I am moving onto a new mask. And unless I get really busy, I'm going to push myself into making a new mask, every 1-2 months. The first up is Ree-Yees!

August 1, 2017 The Silence!
I've been sculpting for a few years now, but it has all been limited to armors. I've wanted to break into latex/silicone masks and body appliances, for quite some time. I was always being held back by not having the "perfect" head casting. Last month, I jumped into sculpting the Extremis monk, figuring I didn't need an exact copy of my head. Once that was completed, a customer commissioned me to tackle other Doctor Who projects. And I'm very glad that he did.
I am very pleased with how this sculpture is turning out. It's almost complete, but I'm going to push a little more of the skin texture. Expect it to be available in the store soon! This is definitely only a taste of many masks to come.
July 28, 2017 Redesign
I've chosen to tear up my entire site, and try to streamline everything neatly. Gone is the blog style homepage. From now on, all updates will be found on this page. But you can still follow me on social media. There you will find the most up to date info on projects and just life in general.
